[Missus?] [Jno.] W. Alvord and Geo. W. Stickney Trustees

Gentlemen.—

Default having been made in the payment of note of Geo. [Mattingly?] for $15.000, dated Aug. 9th 1872, payable in one year, you are hereby requested to advertise the property, [lot?] [7?] in Grants' subdivision of [squall?] 760, which is security for ^the^ [sauce?], according to the [termes?] of the deed of trust, as follows;—

The amount of indebtedness unpaid, $15.000 with interest @ 10% from Feby. 9/73, in cash, "and the balance [in?] 6. 12. & 18 months, for which the notes of the [purchases?] having interest [from?] the day of [sale?], & secured by a deed of trust on the property sold, shall be taken"; Deposit $500: Advertisement required, 15 days. Trust is recorded in [libes?] No 695 folis 98.

At the suggestion of counsel we would request immediate action.
