Teackle, Littleton Denis Dear Sir, Montf. Jany. 28-30

I have dually read, with your letter of the 20th a copy of the "Report on a States' Bank [large chunk of text that has been crossed out] [large chunk of text that has been crossed out]. Not venturing to pronounce on the merits of a plan, ech. is to be tested by a fuller experience than can yet be consulted, I can only express my acknowledgements, for the communication, and my wishes, that if adopted, [crossed out] the patriotic views of its authors, [section crossed out] may be accomplished.
