Baálbek - Took a drive in morning through town and to
spring from which they get their supply of water. Fine
and clear, but bathing, washing, and water of cattle
seems to be largely practiced. Left at 11.00 A.M. on train
for Damascus, arriving there about 4.30 P.M. very hot.
