Folder Description: This folder contains a bound scrapbook of articles and documents pertaining to the renaming of Schlitz Park in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Lapham Park. The scrapbook was likely kept by either Julia Alcott Lapham or Mary Jane Lapham, daughters of Increase Allen Lapham. The scrapbook primary contains newspaper clippings, although there are a few letters and invitations as well. The materials were attached to the pages of an existing book entitled Treasury Annual Reports 1900: Live-Saving Service. Periodicals clippings were taken from include: Milwaukee Free Press; Free Press; Milwaukee Sentinel; Evening Wisconsin; Milwaukee Journal; and Waukesha Freeman.
