last, am very glad I hate such
things. Monday June 25^th came
into town drove home in the
rain. Will the rain ever stop.

Tuesday June 26^th
Went to a Wedding in the morning
went with quite a number of people:
In the afternoon went to a tennis
party, was rather late but found
it very enjoyable, met some
pleasant people,had great fun
when leaving, was asked to the
Literary Meeting, but couldn't go.

Wednesday June 27^th
Am writing this in the morning
an old lady friend is expected
out to dinner today. The weather
is delightful, am writing on the
verandah. Bess is brushing her
silk. B. & I had a heavy thunder
storm between us yesterday, all quite
serene before night however.
