December 14: Moderate S. West breeze with rain showers first part of 24 hours - last part of 24 hours fresh N. West breeze with rain showers - Frank M. Plummer Keeper left the station 9 P.M. and went to Salem on business - General duties - Sea rough.

15: Fresh N. West breeze with rain showers first of 24 hours - last part of 24 hours fresh South East breeze with rain showers - General duties for the day - first Asst cutting wood - Sea rough.

16: Fresh S.E. to light N.W. breeze dry first part of 24 hours - last part of 24 hours light N.W. breeze dry - General duties for the day - 2nd Asst went at 10 A.M and returned to the station at 3 P.M. - Sea smooth.

17: Light N.East to E. wind these 24 hours with clear fine weather during 24 hours - Sea quite rough - General duties for the day - 1st asst putting dressing on the garden - Keeper returned to station at 10 A.M. from Salem Oregon.

18: Light East wind these 24 hours with fair weather - Sea quite rough - General duties for day - Keeper & 1st asst went fishing.

19: Light East to S. East and South wind these 24 hours with fair weather during 24 hours - Sea moderately smooth - General duties for the day - 1st asst went fishing - Keeper and 2nd asst went to Newport after supplies.

20: Fresh breeze to a gale East to S. East and South these 24 hours with hard rain during 24 hours - Sea rough - General duties for the day - The barometer down to 29.35 at 3 P.M.

21: Gale to fresh & strong breeze South to S. West these 24 hours with hard rain moste of 24 hours - Sea rough - General duties for the day - 1st asst putting dressing on the garden and went to Newport take the mail and get mail.

22: Fresh to moderate breeze S.W. & West first part of 2 4hours - Last part of 24 hours light South wind fair weather - first part of 24 hours light rain showers - Sea very rough - General duties for the day - Keeper and 1st asst went fishing today.

23: Moderate breeze East to S.East these 24 hours first part of 24 hours little light rain showers - Last part of 24 hours fair weather - Sea quite rough - General duties for day - 1st asst taking covers off of coal oil - Keeper & 2nd asst went to Newport after mail.

24: Fresh to moderate breeze to light wind S.E to S with light rain showers first part of 24 hours - Last part of 24 hours light wind West fair weather - Sea rough - General duties for the day.

25: Light S. East to East wind these 24 hours first part of 24 hours rain - Last part of 24 hours fair weather - Sea rough - General duties for the day - Keeper went to Newport after the mail & get supplies.

26: Light East wind first part of 24 hours - Last part of 24 hours moderate to fresh breeze N.East to East with clear fine and cool weather - Sea smooth - General duties for day - Keeper putting 200 gallons of mineral oil in oil-room - 1st asst went fishing - 2nd asst went to Newport after mail.

27: Moderate breeze to light East wind these 24 hours with clear fine & cool weather - Sea very smooth - General duties for the day - 1st Asst went fishing - Keeper went to Newport after some supplies today.
