2 South west wind rain, sea moderate. Bar 29.70. Keeper left station at 4:00 A.M. 1st asst & 2nd asst working in their quarters.

3 Strong south west wind rain, sea moderate rough. Bar 29.70. 1st asst working in his quarters, 2nd asst. went to Newport on business.

4 South west wind foggy lt. rain. Sea moderate. Bar 30.20. 1st asst and 2nd asst. working in their quarters. Two visitors came.

5 Wind west to north west foggy to clear. Sea moderate. Bar 30.16. Keeper returned 7:30 P.M. 1st asst and 2nd asst showind visitors through tower.

6 Light to fresh north west wind clear dry sea mod. Bar 30.01. Keeper and asst keepers cleaning stairs, hall, and work room of tower.

7 Calm to light south wind foggy dry sea calm. Bar 30.02. General duties. Keeper and asst keepers showing visitors in the tower.

8 Calm to light variable wind rain to clear sea moderate. Bar. J.W. Collins left station at 4:30 AM on leave of absence. 1st asst showing visitors in the tower. Keeper went to Newport for supplies.
