Referring to your letter of July 15th, I have to say that you are authorized to furnish a suitable heating stove for use in the oil house at Cape Foulweather Light-Station.

Purchase of a cook stove authorized

September 29th 7

Sir:

Your letter of September 18th asking authority to purchase a cook stove for the use of the principal Keeper at the Cape Foulweather Light Station, Oregon, has been received.

In reply I have to say that you are authorized to purchase a cook stove for the purpose named and that you may refer to this letter by date on your vouchers as authority for paying therefor.

Referring to your letter of Aug. 29th, I have to say that the Board authorizes you to purchase two cook stoves and fixtures, one for the assistant keeper's quarters at Cape Foulweather and the other for the assistant keeper's quarters at New Dungenness light-station, in accordance with your request.
