For this trial the said plaintiff heretofore and before the commencment
of this suit, within the county aforesaid on the day of 18
was seized and [p-?] as of his own right in (?) simple of a
certain close, Known and described as section Nineteen Township
Eighteen, Range Three East in the Tuscaloosa Land District, Alabama,
Lying and being situated in the county of St Clair aforesaid,
and the said plaintiff being so seized and [papeped?] of the
Close aforesaid, the said defendant affirmed to writ on the
day and year aforesaid, with force and arms broke and
entered the plaintiffs said close and trampled down the
(?), and injured and destroyed the timber growing
thereon and then and there [d-?] other injury to the plaintiffs
said close, and this suit is brought as well to recover damages
for the said [T-?] as to [any?] titles to said lands - and to
recover the [popepin ???] thereof wherefore the said plaintiffs hath
[perst-?] damage to the amount of Twenty Thousand dollars,
and hence this suit,
