Preamble

The State of Alabama
Be it remembered that at
St Clair County } a circuit court began and
held for said County at the Court House in the
Town of Ashville on the Sixth Monday after the
fourth Monday in September 1830. It being the
second Monday and eighth day of November in
the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and thirty. Present the Honorable Henry
W. Collier one of the Judges of the Circuit Court
of said State, who opened a court in due form
of Law whereupon the following proceedings
were had and held (to writ)

Judgement:

William Johnson
vs:
Robert Lawson
This day came the plaintiff
by his attorney and the defen-
dant being solemly called
came not but made default. It is therefore
considered by the court that the plaintiff recover
of the defendant the sum of two hundred and
eighty dollars and sixty two cents Damages besi-
des his cost expended in this behalf for which ex-
ecution may issue.

forgoing contains a true and perfect Transcript
of the Judgement in the case of William
Johnson vs: Robert Lawson decided in the Cir-
cuit Court of St Clair County Nov: Term 1830. Tak-
en from the record in my office by view under
my hand and private seal having no seal of
office at office this fifteenth day of May A.D.
