a negro woman named Fanny aged about eighteen
years & her infant child a boy named Adam
aged about three months - which said negro
slaves I warrant to be sound of body & mind &
will also warrant and defend the title of said slaves
against the claim or claims of all & every person
or persons whatsoever - In testimony whereof I
have hereunto set my hand and seal the day & year

cents for the hire of twenty five negroes, men, wo-
men & children for which I have this day given
said Turnipseed my bills of sale - Time of hire
to end on the 1st day of march 1844 - and I further bind
myself to cloth said negroes well & to deliver them
to said Turnipseed on the said first day of March
