Dear Brother
I drop you a
line by Mr. Hidell. I am
just up from the plantation
and have but a moment
to write before he leaves.
I am not well. Have
a head ache have been
taking too much exercise
down on my farm
and feel quite wearied
and jaded. If the
weather would continue
as it was yesterday I
would soon bring up
lost time in planting
I was very much tired
last night & slept soundly

Was "jaded" in use at the time of these documents? If so, that could be the missing word.
