To all people to whom these presents shall come John Joseph of the Town of Sandwich in the County of Barn
:stable in the province of the Massachusetts Bay in New England Indian sendeth Greeting &c Whereas the
Town of Sandwich have granted Liberty to Timothy Bourne and Nathan Bourne both of the Town of Sandwich
aforesd yeomen to purchas of the Indians some quantity of Land lying att or near manyment in said
Town of Sandwich and to them their heirs and assigns for ever wch sd Lands are part of the Lands formerly
Granted by the Generall Court of New Plymouth to sd Town, And they sd Timothy Bourne and Nathan Bourne
having admitted and received in Benjamin Gibbs of sd Town of Sandwich yeaoman to have equall right and
priveledge with themselves in purchasing some Lands of mine Contained in the Grant made by said town
to them sd Timothy and Nathan Bourne Now know yee therefore that I the sd John Joseph for & in considera=
:tion of the full and just sum of fourty poundd in Bills of publick credit on sd Province to me in hand paid
by them the sd Timothy Bourne Nathan Bourne and Benjamin Gibbs the Receipt thereof I do acknowledge
and myself therewith fully satisfied contented and paid and thereof and of every part and parcell thereof I do
for me myn heirs executs and Admints exonerate acquitt and discharge them the sd Timothy Bourne
Nathan Bourne and Benjamin Gibbs their heirs executs Admints and every of them for ever by these presents
hath given granted bargained sell enfeoffe convey and confirm unto them the sd Timothy Bourne Nathan
Bourne and Benjamin Gibbs their heirs and assigns for ever all that two peices or parcells of my upland being a
part of sd Granted Lands situate lying and being in manyment neck so called in sd Town of Sandwich both parcells
being by esxemation fourty acres be they more or less one parcell thereof lying at or near the place called Queen=
=suett and adjoyneth to Queensuett Pond bounded att one corner by a marked cedar tree standing by said pond
and thence running a cross a swamp to a marked white oak tree and thence runing westerly untill it come to an
old tar kiln where stands a fence and thence northrly to a stake standing on the bank by or near the Bay and so
on the same streight line to the meadow and thence runing round by the meadow untill it come to a pond
or Little hole of water near the meadow of sd Nathan Bourne and thence runing easterly to a plum bush stand=
ing on the bank in the ranege of the Lands of sd Nathan Bourn & thence is bounded by his lands untill it come
to sd Queensuett pond, and thence is bounded by that pond untill it come to sd marked ceedar tree, And the other
peice or parcell of land lyeth att the lower end of a neck called pwachecut neck and is bounded at the most southerly
corner by a marked bush standing on the bank and thenc on a streigh line westerly a cross the neck to a marked
white oak sapling standing on the bank and thence down to the meadow and is bounded alll round the neck by
the meadow of sd Nathan Bourne untill it comes to the first mentioned marked bush with all and singular the
standing wood undeer wood timber and trees in and upon each parcell of sd granted lands with all the proffit, priveledge,
and appurtinances to each parcell belonging or in anywise appertaining To have and To hold each parcell of
land before mentioned and bounded with the appurtinanaces unto them the sd Timothy Bourne Nathan Bourne
and Benjamin Gibbs their heirs and assigns and to the only and alone sole proper[?]ye benefit and behoofe of
them the sd Timothy Bourne Nathan Bourne and Benjamin Gibbs their heirs and assigns for ever And I the
sd John Joseph do for me myn heirs executs admints covenant and grant to and with them the said
Timothy Bourne Nathan Bourne and Benjamin Gibbs their heirs and assigns that att and before the
sealing hereof and untill the delivery of these presents I am the true sole and propwer owner of all the
before granted and conveyed premises and have in myselfe full power good right & lawfull authority to grant
sell and assure the same in form and maner aforesd. And that they the sd Timothy Bourne Nathan Bourne
and Benjanmin Gibbs their heirs and assigns respectively shall and may by force and virtue of these presents
from time to time and at all times for ever hereafter have hold use possess and enjoy all the before
Granted and conveyed pcell of of upland with the appurtinances freely peaceably and quietly without the
Lawfull lett suit hindrance molestation or disturbance of me the sd John Joseph myn heirs or assigns
or of any other pson or psons whomsoever In Witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seal
this one and thirtyeth day of October in the seventh year of his Majties reign Annoq Domini one thousand
seven hundred and twenty
