Mrs LoomisKate (Ashley) Loomis (?-1900), wife of George Loomis (1817-1894), who co-founded Pacific Coast Oil (now Chevron Corporation). The couple lived in San Francisco and maintained a country home in Menlo Park near the Stanford Farm. Near the end of their lives they lived in the Palace Hotel in San Francisco which is where Mrs. Loomis died.
