Senator for County & members to Legislature under new constitution, fair pretty day. Fanned Out my wheat & at Mrs McCullocks & about to settle for toll etc at both places 9 Raised my Stable & went to Mrs McC Mr Atkisson moved to McC to attend to her business from ~~from~~ 2nd Decr to X for $5. – Hewing down my stable etc etc 11th Raised Top to Ice House Halled some wood & Killed our Hogs this morning Fine weather, went to Mrs Hunts for Lucy Ann – 12th Sent 4½ Bushels Toll wheat of machine made 1851 to Mr. Joshua Hubbard — Halled up Some Oats this morning^{pr of stack} making new stable Door & etc 14 Cutting Halling & fencing owen set up our Tobacco Hh^d to day very cold & clear 17 Owen moved Halling wood & made up fence at little new ground.
