1856 Sept 8th Mr Wyatt Came again this morning
worming & succoring Tobacco over to day Kitty
& all out once more, Henry with Mr wyatt
at work on Barn

13th The first of this week Pulling fodder
Tying & put up one stack Blades worming
& succoring Tobacco Daubing up & fixing
Barns etc washed up & fixed overseers house
Sent 2 stacks to mill to day one to Yates
for sheeting & one to Dews & got Plank
for it, for weaving house, began to rain
Thursday night & Rained all night & nearly
all day Friday Mr Wyatt worked some
Shop made ½ Bushel a door for weaving
House etc etc — Henry Jobing there too
to day wyatt & Jacob Covered in Jacobs
Barn & wyatt getting shinges -

A Sum to be done as follows
you have $100 to buy cows Sheep & Hogs
So as to get One Hundred Head all put together
now tell me How many cows sheep &
& Hogs you will get & at what price
the sheep you are to give 3/- a ps for
the cows $10 ps & the Hogs $4 ps for
- give me the answer

6 Hogs @ 4 25.00

15 To Day pulling fodder at stony p[o]int
Stacking fodder this evening caught in rain
about 2 stacks - brot home our bull
this morning – red steer out yet.

16th worming & succorig Tobacco in morning
Henry & Wyatt covered weaving House
Began & Cut Branch Tobacco this day. Mr Adams
moved here to day from Mr John D Hunts
