A good day. We need
rain very bad. The men
folks finished plowing
over their corn this
evening. Ben & Henry
and Franklin and
I went to Long
Island. I fished a
little while. Caught
a little cat fish.
Ben bought a few
things from [?]
Josie done a big washing
to day and ironed
some this evening.
Carrie & the children
come a little whil
this evening. I am a
sleep and blot my
book.
