Cousin Thomas
I wrote to you last fall stating
how things was here with gregard to the Dixen Estate
but have receive no answer and pressure you care
but little about the matter I will just say
that Mr Isabett has filed a bill to sell the land
belonging to the Estate and if you would give
your consent for a decree it might hasten the
Business he could have sold some of the land
possibly for tolerable fair price but was not
in a situation to make a deed for the want
of Instruction from you he is disposed to
wind up the Buissness as fast as he can
The Lee Debt could now be compromised by
paying him fifty dollars and each one pay his
own cost what would you do in that case
If you think it best to give that amount out
of the Dixon Est write to me an I will have
it to letter I do not think he can record but
it may be some time before it is bill the cost
may run up to very near that amount I saw
a letter from Dysart he is well please with
Texas and his & Ams health is better all
friends are well as far as I know very cold
write every thing high Yours Truly JB Helm
