Wed July 9 Pretty warm again
to day. Dave skinned 84 lbs of
catfish and took them over to
town. The rest of us worked at
haying hauled 5 loads raked
some and I finished cutting
the first crop.

Thurs July 10 Quite warm
and rained a little bit but not
enough here to amount to any
thing but I think we got
the best kind of a rain up
at the Rough and Ready ranch.
We hauled one small load
of hay and finished the
stack. Lew raked a little and
Bert plowed out the little patch
towards the barn and the windy hill
squash patch. Dave skinned and
marketed about 70 lbs of cat fish.
Anda and Lug came to night.
