Thurs March 22 Cold and blustering in
the morning but moderated quite a bit
during the day. We didnt do much but the
chores in the forenoon but in the afternoon
Johny hauled manure and I started on a headgate.

Fri March 23 Quite a nice little
day. John hauled manure this forenoon
and this afternoon went to town to do some
errands. I filled the cistern about two thirds
full and worked quite a bit at the head
gate.

Sat March 24 It snowed slow most of
the day and melted nearly as fast as it came.
I didnt do anything Johny done the chores.
Frank came home he brought over some alfalfa
seed to be cleaned.

Sun March 25 It snowed rather
more to day [today] than yesterday and is snowing
to night [tonight]. The boys done the chores and seemed
to get along very well without me.

Mon March 26 Looked pretty stormy
this morning but cleared off and looks now as
though it had given up storming as a bad job.
Frank and John cleaned up Mrs Curtis's
alfalfa seed this morning and then hauled
some hay and put it into the barn loft then
Frank loaded up some plunder and went
over to the Curtis place. I worked at the
head gate business got the main one
done and started at some checks.
