Wed April 4 A very fine day clear through.
John plowed all day. I finished sowing wheat
and then irrigated the front Lawn and have
the water not running on to the back lawn.
Ett was here to day [today] and made quite a visit.

Thurs Apr 5 A very nice day only rather
cold in the morning. John plowed and I
irrigated over on the piece in the N W Corner.

Fri Aril 6 Clear and a little warmer
than yesterday. John plowed all day.
I irrigated on the piece in the N W corner.

Sat April 7 Mostly cloudy with
quite a strong wind towards night.
We remodeled the clod crusher and John finished plowing the piece on the hill
and then he clod crushed it. Then he went
up to windy hill and brought down August
and her calf. I irrigated on the corner piece.

Sun April 8 Cloudy and cold all day
and the wind blew hard all day and is howling
yet. John went to town. Mother and I played
keeping Sunday by keeping the stove warm.

Mon Apr 9 Clear and fine.
John and I went to the creamery with 2
cans of milk this morning and got home
in time to make a beginning on the
sowing of alfalfa seed and harrowing.
I sowed this afternoon and Johny harrowed
and we got along fine and the harrowing
done lots of good.
