18 continued Charley Evans was out and bought
our hyslop crabs and 800 lbs of Lady Elgins and is
to pay us 2 cts pr [per]pound for them.

Wed Sept 19 Clear mostly
and fine and warm. I and Johny and Bert Jolly and
Mrs Dixon and Lill picked apples all day and a
young man that Evans sent out helped too.
Johny took over 7 barrels of Hyslops and we
have quite a lot left yet that are picked.

Thurs Sept 20 Very nice day. We
picked apples until about 3 O clock then went
to town with them. Our load yesterday came t [to]
$24.46 cts and to day [today] to $26.16 cts. We got home
pretty late but I am feeling pretty mean too.

Fri Sept 21 Nice day. Johny picked
apples for Cheyenne. I went to town to be a witness
in a case between the Storage and Water Supply
company and the North fork co but the was
set for next Thurs instead of to day [today] so I
loafed around most of the day.

Sat Sept 22 Clear and as windy as
the old nick and turned quite cold towards
night. Johny went up to Spring Canion [Canyon] to
get Clayton the bull. He has not got back yet.
I fixed the wagon for Cheyenne and then this
afternoon picked some apples.

Sun Sept 23 Real nice to day [today]. We
kept Sunday tolerable well and had quite a lot of
company too.
