Fri Sept 14 Clear mostly but cold and windy.
Johny picked fruit and hoed strawberries. I mowed
on the 10 acre piece.

Sat Sept 15 Very good day to
day [today]. I finished cutting the ten acre piece this
morning then shocked the rest of the day.
Johny raked the south half of the 10
acre piece then shocked the rest of the day.

Sun Sept 16 Nice again. Lew came
over this morning and we branded and
castrated the calves and we kept Sunday
mostly. Had quite anumber of callers.

Mon Sept 17 Clear and pretty. Bert Jolly
came out last night and has helped haul
to day [today]. Marsh came a little before noon and
has helped to haul this afternoon. Johny
raked and bunched the north half of the 10
acre piece then he helped to haul the
rest of the day. I gathered up the hay that
we cut in the orchard and helped to stack
some and picked fruit some and Mother and
I went over to Charleys and got a couple of pigs.

Tues Sept 18 Cloudy and cool in the
morning but it cleared off and the latter part
of the day was warm and sunshiny. We finished
hauling the hay to day [today]. Had 9 loads in all.
Marsh helped until noon and Johny and
Bert finished the hauling and I stacked it.
W B and M Y Osburn were here to day [today] collecting
fruit for a display at the State and the
Loveland Street fairs. Got a good assortment.
