Sat June 15 Clear and nice and quite warm.
We planted the little patch of potatoes west of the
ice house then Will replanted the corn and I
attended having my ditch fixed where it was
cut when the reservoir broke and got water started
for our lake.

Sun June 16 Mostly clear but it
clouded up towards night and threatened to rain
but we got the wind and not the rain.
Dave got home to day [today] and him and Meda have
gone up to Harry Dixons. Will went up home.
Mother and I kept Sunday pretty good I
think.

Mon June 17 I am 70 years old
to day [today]. It has been clear and pretty cool most of
the time. The boys hauled two small loads
of hay from the orchard and Door yard and
put them into the barn loft. Then Dave and
I went to town and got 3 stringers for the
bridge and 5.10 inch 12 ft 2 inch plank.
This afternoon the boys cultivated corn
and I irrigated the strawberry plants.

Tues June 18 Pretty good day but
rather cold. I mowed the pieces north of the
house and Barn. The boys done a good many odd jobs.

Wed June 19 Nice day only
most too cold. I cut the piece in the
N W corner and done some other odd jobs.
The boys done various odd jobs.
