Thurs June 20 A pretty good day again
but still it threatened rain some. We put
the body of the rack together and on the wagon
and went over and put in a couple of gates
so that we could get into the alfalfa over on
the hill. Then I cut over there until noon
when I concluded to shock this afternoon as
I thought may be [maybe] it might rain. We got the
piece north of thenouse raked and bunched
and mostly shocked.

Fri June 21 Pretty fair hay day
but it threatened to rain a little. The boys finished
shocking the piece north of the house then they
went to work at the piece in the NW corner
got it raked and bunched and nearly half
shocked. I finished cutting the piece over
on the hill and worked at shocking the rest
of the day. Lizzie Golden came to day [today] to help
pick berries etc. Will and Meda went to town
and took over 24 quarts of berries.

Sat June 22 It didnt rain hardly any
nor threaten much. We finished raking and
shocking so that we can commence stacking
Monday if any is dry enough. We made a lot
of berry boxes and shipping crates and I irrigated
the strawberry patch to boot.

Sun June 23 Nice and pretty warm.
Dave Meda and Will went to Spring Canion [Canyon] and horse
tooth [Horsetooth] had a good time I hope. John Camerons
folks were here and made us a good visit. Will
left Bonny and brought down Flora.
