Notice.

To the members of the Hanover Center Cemetery Association: You are hereby notified to meet at the vestry of the First CongChurch at 7.30 P.M. on the 28th day of September 1945 to act upon the following subjects.

First:- To hear reports of officers.

Second- To elect officers for the ensueing year.

Third. To transact any other busines that may legally come before said meeting

The 1955 Session of the General Court amended Chapter 292, Revised Statutes Annotated, relating to non-profit corporations and now requires the filing of an annual return and a filing fee of $5.00 with the Office of the Secretary of State on or before July first of each year.

Following is a copy of section 292:5a pertaining to the filing of annual returns:

292:5a. Returns, Filing Fee, Penalty. Every corporation organized under this chapter shall annually, on or before July first, make a return in writing to the secretary of state upon blanks to be furnished by him upon request. The returns shall be signed by and under the oath of the president and secretary or officers corresponding to president and treasurer of said corporations, and shall state its principal address and the names and addresses of all the officers and directors or governing board of the corpaoration. Every such corporation shall pay to the secretary of state with such annual return a filing fee of five dollars. Any corporation which shall fail to file its annual return on or before July first shall be required to pay an additional fee of five dollars, as well as to make the annual return. Any corporation which shall for two consecutive years neglect or refuse to pay any fee due under the provisions of this chapter shall be liable to be dissolved and its charter repealed by act of the legislature. 1955, 171:8.

Enclosed is the form for making your annual return. This form must be subscribed to before a Notary Public, and sent with the $5.00 filing fee on or before July first to :―

First. to hear the reports of the officers.

Second. to discuss the disbanding of said Society.

Third. to transact any other business which may legally come before said meeting.
