night but we aa have good sleeping bags so don't
mind it. A sea gull seen today. Cloudy and calm.
Occasional snow today. Water sky all along the
horizon a long distance to the South. For the last week

We went along on the sea ice miles about a mile East of it
and then cut across the 2nd crack into the lagoon. About 350
or so to site. This time I expect it to be warm and I
held on coming. The harbor mouth for it was not from
our bearing of the strong current, but we made it by
land on a sand spit and will get it later. We
