Town Planner - Plan Docket No 1444/46 subdivision of Block 10 of Section 3a Hd Cummins Plan 1860 on account of
AL Heidenreich, Lots 148 to 175, for Councils consideration.
This was held over pending a report from Town Planner.
In reference to Section No 78 Hd Mortlock- Mr M Murchison
has informed the Council that this was offered to him, but that as it is seperated from his property by the road he does not require it.
Prop Cr Richardson/ Sec CR Woods} That application be made to Director of Lands for this Sec No 78 be declared a Reserve and handed to the care & control of the Council. Carried.
Orders to Close and retain Portion of District Road adjoining Section 502 Hundred of Lincoln was made on the motion of
Cr P Woods, Seconded by Cr RF Richardson, as attached herewith. Carried.
An objection to the above was received from NW Tyler on account of expected smell from Fish processing works- proposed to be erected on the portion to be Closed, but
Council did not think this sufficient reason to withhold the Order to Close.
Prop CR Smith/ Sec Cr Wood} That Clerk AH Taylor be appointed to Revise the Assessment for 1946/47 at usual fee. Carried.
Overseers Report for Month was read-
Prop Cr/ Sec Cr } That Overseers report as read be adopted.
Carried.
Cr Ford requested that the road between Traegers & Nelligans be inspected and see what can be done to it. Granted.
