Cr Ford requested that a bad place on Mt Hope Road near Gerschwitz be also repaired. He also reported that Palm Bros had carted some stone and filled a bad hole in the area near their property.
Cr Richardson reported that cattle are still allowed to stray on the Whites Flat road, and Clerk was instructed to write again to Langmeade, giving him notice to keep his cattle off the road.

Mr Davis, Highways Inspector met the Council and explained to them the position in reference to the Govt Post-War Road
Construction 5 year plan, and that as the Department is not in a position to go on with the work, Grants will be made available to any Council that has the necessary Plant and Labour available to do the work in their area- Mr Davis was duly thanked for meeting the Council on this matter. It was resolved that Crs Morgan & Smith represent this Council and join with representations of Elliston D/C in a Deputation to wait on the Commr Highways on 26th August in reference to this 5 year plan, and more especially in connexion with the Flinders Highway to Kyancutta Road.
