Councillor Hartley stated the he considered
it advisible that a representativeof the Council
should meet all returned Soldiers.
Resolved that the matter be left in the
hands of the Cheer-up Society.

Cr Hartley moved that the Clerk be instructed to send
a letter of Condolence to Messrs Hyde, Fraser, Hawson
& Sage. 2nd by Cr Morgan. Carried

Cr Forbes wished to know on what terms the Park
Lands were let - which had been fenced
off by Mr Garrett. Resolved that the
Overseer investigate the matter & report at
the next meeting.

Overseer report read & adopted.

Resolved that recommendations made
by the Main Road Inspector be carried
out.
