Financial Statement present showed a Credit Bal of £4189.2.3
Correspondence
Director of Lands advised that the Camp Sites had been leased for one year to the following:- From 1st April 1945
W O Stenson Coulta ¼ acre adjoining Section 230 Hd Lake Wangary
Mrs G E Stenson Coulta ¼ acre adjoining Section 233 Hd Lake Wangary
Mrs E M Price ¼ acre adjoining Section 233 Hd Lake Wangary

Grant
Highways Dept advised that following Councils request 'an additional £100 had been alloted to District Roads to enable the grading on road through Section 86 Hd Wanilla to be completed to Wanilla Siding. Rcd
Planting Trees on Road Poonindie
Secy Poonindie School Committee requested perission to plant Pine Trees on road running east from the School and to fence same to protect from stock.
Prop Cr Richardson/ Sec Cr Blacker }That permission be granted to plant the trees and protect them from stock as requested in the letter. Carried.

Opinion re Well on road
Letter from Mr Pearson MP to Mr J Doudle - with a copy of an opinion by the Crown Solicitor - that there is evidently no legal way of granting permission to sink a well on a Road, other than by closing the road or portion thereof (on which it is desired to sink a well) under the Roads (Opening & closing Act). Rec'd.

Tractors
S A Tractor Coy advising that if Councils will require new Tractors for Post War work, it is advisable to now advise the Coy of their requirements.
