the second reading of the By Law Clause by Clause
The Report was received

The 30th Rule was again suspended and the
By Law was read a third time and passed.

On motion the Council adjourned - yeas 9. nays 7.

A Special meeting of the Council of the Corporation of the
City of Kingston was held this day Present

His Worship the Mayor

Aldermen

Dunn, Eilbeck, Harty, Hiscock, Hobart, Little
McKay, O'Brien, Redden, Shannon, Thompson
J. Wilson

The Mayor stated the meeting was called to take into
consideration the widening of the lower part of West street from
King street to the waters edge

The Chairman from the Committee on Streets and
Improvements brought up a Report (Number 413 Book E)
which was read received and adopted

On motion of Ald. Eilbeck seconded by Ald. Redden

Ordered, That the Special Committee on Water Works
be empowered to engage the Services of an expert to examine and
report on the present and cost of a new system

On motion the Council adjourned
