Dear Mr. Tremiler,

I guess this is right channel to come through. I desire to return to Stanford after the war but after very last quarter there I am doubtful whether you would care to have me. As you may know I was a member of the "Flying Indians" and knew I was not to be able to finish college because of that fact. So I sort of jumped off the deep end so to speak and neglected classes, altogether during the last half of Spring Quarter 1942. I did not take any finals as I was away at the time. I should have tried for a leave of absence but I did not think I would ever return to college at that time. Now, however, things have changed and I find I do wish to return. I would appreciate very much anything you can do for me towards that end.
