6. Recreational facilities on the campus present no problem for one who knows the golf course, swimming pools, and tennis courts as any Stanford man should. One extra-curricular difficulty is a necessity to supplement the governmental allowance. Owing to the extensive program of education which I have planned, and to the large expense entailed, it appears at the present time that a supplemental income will be required. The amount
