J.T. Bradlee Esq. Prest.

Dear Sir,

In view of the isolated position of our buildings, I would recommend the consideration of purchase of some of the many "Extinguishers" or small Engines in the market.

Also an attachment for hose to the faucet in "Reception House"

I enclose such documents as I have obtained from various sources on the subject.

The buildings I refer to are 1 - Reception House - 2-Carpenter shop - 3 -Stone Farm buildings - 4 - Engine House (perhaps) The Green Hos. have hose attached now.)

John T. Bradlee Esq Prest,

Dear Sir,

I enclose memo of T.H. French's bill for repairs done at Gate & Engine House; also you will please find a letter from Pickett & Lovering giving their estimate ^$1,000 & 1200 for [porching?] the Chapel, Tower & Gate Way. (The work on the Chapel & Tower has not been done, as the estimate was con sidered too high to undertake without further vote of the Trustees.)

I am Yours respectfully, C.W. Folsom Supt

The marble doors (and brass handles for same,) for the Catacombs now in, are stowed at Engine House attic.

Notes will be found on file of the size of various coffin boxes which we have had on hand for interment; and of the opinion of Mr. Safford, our Undertaker; from which it will be seen that every thing points to the necessity of making the Catacombs higher and wider, in any increase of the Tomb.

My plan for the next set, you will notice, provides for this, and still leaves the cornice at same hight [sic], for uniform effect.
