A good day.

Ben plowed the garden and potatoes this morning.

He cut his rye today.

Paul Bennett come home at twelve oclock.

Paul carried Josie and the children and I up to Renan. We went to see Kate Harvey and Mag Brumfield this evening. Johnson and Mollie Reynolds went to Charlottesville to day to see Clifton married. Julia and Howard Fergerson come to Reynolds yesterday.

A good day. Ben cut wheat at Jim Powers to day. Mr Power brought to[sic] reaper home to night.

Paul Bennett worked on the barn til noon. Then he went to Mr Mayhews after ice. The ladies of Renan neighborhood sold cream at the school house to night. Miss Fannie Power come with Ben. They are all gone to the school house now.

Josie worked hard all day fixin her cream and cakes. I do hope they may have luck and sell their cream.

Mr Bailiss come here this evening. His horse got cut in the wire.

A cloudy day no rain. The men folks replanted tobacco this morning. Josie got dinner. She went to the mill this morning and to Renan. She carried the children with her to Renan.

This evening Ben carried Henry and I to Cedar Forest fishing. I caught three cat fish.

Turned them in the branch at home.

Paul has gone to the school house to night.

A good day. Ben cut his oats.

Josie got dinner. She baked a cake and fixed for supper at Stanton High School. They will be a play there to night by some of the Renan crowd.

Paul went a bout 2 in the evening. I hope that they may make good. The proceeds will go to the Red Cross.

A good day.

Ben and Owen went to the mill did not get any grinding. Ben helped Marvin fix his pump a gain to day. Helped Owen fix his stove pipe. Miss Willie Wooding come a while this evening.

Josie made her a dress this evening. To night Ben and Paul and the children went to Renan bought shells. Paul killed two rabbits. Kate sent the calf home this morning.

I went to see Bens and Pauls crops this evening. It looks good now. We need rain.

Josie has sick head ache. I hope she will soon be well.
