To the Honorable Mayor and City Council of the City of West Seattle, King County, Washington. Gentlemen:-
Your petitioners, the undersigned and owners of the property appearing opposite our respective names, such property being and lying within the hereinafter proposed "Local Improvement District" and the same being subject to assessments in proportion to the benefits derived by the improvements therein, do hereby respectfully petition your honorable body to establish a "Local Improvement District", as provided by law, for the clearing, grubbing, grading and parking of the hereinafter named streets and between the points therof herein named, in the City of West Seattle, and that such improvements be made under the five year installment plan and that the sum or assessments charged against the lots and parcels of land abutting and fronting on the streets so improved with in said "Local Improvement District" be paid in five equal annual installments and and that five year "Local Improvement Bonds" be issued against said district, as provided by law, to defray the cost thereof. The improvement and permanent grade herein petitioned for and to be embraced in the "Local Improvement District" so established, your petit-ioners respectfully ask that the following streets be included therein and be improved in the manner hereinbefore stated, towit:
1 Spruce street from the East line of Prospect avenue Threehundred and seventy feet East. 2 Home street from Spruce street to Occident avenue. 3 Harrison street from Home street to Prospect avenue. 4 Prospect avenue from center line of Spruce street to center line of Prince street. 5 Whittlesey street from Prospect avenue to California avenue. 6 Occident avenue from East line of Home street to East line of Prospect Avenue.

To the Honorable Board of Public Works, of the City of Seattle Gentlemen: - We the undersigned residents of the City of Seattle living East of Rainier Street and South of Jackson Street, hereby petition that the City extend its Water Pipe (now laid on Baker St,as far as Florence St,) down Florence Street, East One block to Park Ave, thence One block South to Prince Street.
We now depend on Water on Two Springs one of which is situated about 100 feet from Rainier Street and just below the Taylor Mill Horse Stables. The other Spring is situated less than 100 feet from the Cesspool of Mr. Gilman and Mr. Carr.

Your petitioners, being residents and property holders along the line of improvements herein asked for; respectfully petition and pray your Hon. Body to open full width and make fit for travel (at the expense of the city) the following route: Broadway, northward, from Mill St, to Prince St., thence Prince Street, eastward from Broadway through Peter Dean's Addition; and we respectfully represent to your Hon Body, that the country along the above described route is rapidly improving and being selled, and some of your petitioners, besides a number of other property owners contemplate the outlay of large sums in the improvements along the said route in the Beautiful Eastern and Kollucks, Lawlers' & Dean's Additions; That there are allready a number of families living in said addition and the above is the most practical and accessible route for getting in our
