World War I Collection

after lunch Holmes & I went to the aviation field. Got back at 11 P.M. Only one meal. Got up too late for breakfast. Met aviator Levi & Drafus. Promised to give me a ride as soon as their machines were in order. Fourty two car convoi went out on 1/2 hour notice. Glad I missed it as they didn't get back until 10:30 A.M. and left at 5:30 P.M.

Went on convoi. Carried 75 from Bazochs to Villa Preycau. Had the new man, Fairbanks as pardner. No. 6 going bad. Went on {par?}. Extremely heavy bombardment by the French along the front. Passed many loaded ambulances.
