To the Honorable City Council of City of Seattle Gentlemen At sale for City Taxes of 1890, Lot 7 Blk 22 Burke's 2d Addition was sold to T Hanford at sale held July 18th 1891 as shown by certificate of purchase No 461, said certificate being then signed by T Hanford to me. Sale was erroneous, the lot having been assessed to W D Adams and tax paid by him Feby 28/91 receipt No 5612. I therefore request that you refund to me the cost of certificate $4.59 with interest.
