S. R. Jones, Esq., #47 Woodbine St., Roxbury.

Dear Sir: -

The fence on the lot standing in the name of the heirs of James L. Jones is in a rusty and unsightly condition, and the lot and its surroundings would be improved by removing it. Will you authorize me to do this recut the posts at the corners, fill up and sod over the other post holes and cut the number of the lot, without expense to you except the old material.

Respectfully yours,

Supt.

Mrs. M. A. Jones, Atchison, Kas.

Dear Madam:-

The fence around the Jones, Sibley and Swallow lots is in a rusty and unsightly condition, and the lot and its surroundings would be very much improved by removing it. I have just received an order to remove the fence from one of these lots, which will leave the Jones lot open at the side. Will you give me your authority to remove the fence from the Jones lot, recut four posts for the corners, cut the number of the lot on one of them, and remove the other posts and sod over the post holes without expense to you except the old material.

Respectfully yours,

Supt.

Since my letter of was forwarded I have received orders to remove the fence on the other side of your lot, which would leave your lot with only the front and rear parts of the fence without ends.

Mrs. Sarah F. Brown

Dear Madam,

Your order for 1889 is received, but it does not seem quite clear as to plants. Do you wish for plants in addition to those in the vase if so how many?

An early reply will oblige

Yours Resp'y

J.W. Lovering Supt. per F.A.B.

Messrs Burnham & Lowell

Dr Sirs

Please make what repairs are necessary on fence on Lot 1518, Geranium Path, front being broken in cutting a tree.

When you are out please look at the signs "under the perpetual care of the Corporation" which are fastened to the iron fences, and see if they can be neatly altered to stand in the ground as on many of the lots & let me know the cost apiece for altering say 50.

Yours truly J.W.Lovering Supt

Miss Almira P. Needham,
