Ordered that the City Surveyor submit [lans and specification and the Clerk directed to advertise for bids for building wharves on Commercial and South Second Streets. Ordered that the Street Committee be instructed to present a feasible plan for opening West Street south to Union St, also opening the alley west of Front Street from that point south. Plat of Mountain View Addition to the City of Seattle approved On motion the plat of Rutland is rejected. The name of Mr. C. W. Ferris was presented by Mayor White for position of City Comptroller to be confirmed by the Board of Aldermen. Confirmed by vote of 9 to 0. The Prest declared Mr. Ferris duly elected.

Korn moved to have the City Clerk furnish 50 copies of the rules and order of business to the Board. Second by Snyder and Carried.

Miller moved that the names of the Standing Committee be printed in back part of the Book of Rules & Orders. Carried.

B of A Bill No. 1 by Miller An Ordinance pertaining to the rights and duties of the Corporation Council under the City Charter adopted Oct. 1st A.D. 1890. Read twice and ref to the Jud. Committee.

B & A Bill No. 2 by Miller An Ordinance to prescribe the duties of the Fire Commissioners and to more fully Organize the Fire Department read twice and ref to the Jud. Committee.
