454 JOURNAL OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE May 4 1888 From Same Committee granting the petition of D T Denny et al for the grading of Lake Ave from John Street to Harrison Street and directing the City Surveyor to submit plans and specifications therefor at the next regular meeting. Adopted From Same Committee refusing the petition of A Jackson for grading a portion of Jackson Street; stating that work has been done as prayed for. Adopted and ordered filed. From Same Committee rejecting the petition of J M Quilter for vacating a portion of Old Beach Road. Adopted. From Same Committee granting the petition of J D Wincapaw for grading and constructing sidewalks on Box Street from Depot St to Harrison Street and the City Surveyor is directed to submit plans and specification therefor at the next regular meeting. Adopted. From Same Committee submitting report of L Bertrand and Co showing the condition of the 7th Street grade, north end, which is ordered filed and City Attorney directed to notify the Bondsmen on said contract to complete said street.
