A good day. Jim & Ben cut tobacco. They cut Jims tobacco and commenced on Bens. Josie sewed. She made Franklin a pair of pants. I went to Marvins as usual.

Doris & Janie Brumfield & Delma Owen and Christenia Reynols com to Marvins and bathed in the pond that the children has in the branch.

Kates heifer got hurt this evening. I am very sorry it happened.

Another hot dry day. Ben finished cutting his tobacco and finished Jims. Josie sewed. Made waists for Franklin.

I got what dinner we had. This evening I worked button holes in Pauls waists.

Josie and I and the children went to Marvins. Carrie was sewing. She has done more sewing than any one that I know of.

I want to see Kate bad. I intend to go to see her soon if I can get to any way.

A cloudy day. Some rain this evening. We were so glad of what did fall.

Josie sewed this evening. I worked some button holes. Jim & Ben will stay at the barn tonight. Ben & Henry went hunting to night a while.

I went to Marvins a few minutes this evening. Come by the pea patch. There is a lot of peas dry and need to be gathered.

Ben & Marvin went to Mrs Kates place this evening and got a few apples. Fruit is hard to find a bout here this year.

A bright day. Ben hauled wood after he got the engine to work. Jim plowed all day. The children went to school.

Josie & I washed. Josie used the machine part of the time. Josie got dinner. I sewed on a quilt.

This evening I went to Marvins. Carrie was at work on Roys pants.

Reese's possum got out of the box that is a [pen mark] He was gone this morning.

Mabel keeps fretting. I am a fraid she is not well.

A clear dry day. Jim & Ben cut corn. Marvin and his hand helped them this evening. Ben & Jim went to Renan. There was no one at the store. The children went to school. Franklin come home very much complaining. I hope he will soon be well.

Josie and I washed some quilts this morning. I am so glad that we are done that job.

Josie spent the evening mending on the clothes. I went to Marvins. Some of Carries children has bad colds. I sowed some on a quilt this evening and to night. Every one has gone to bed and I will go soon.
