To the Honorable the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Seattle.
Your Petitioners, beg leave respectfully to represent that they reside in the neighborhood of Ash, and John streets in said city, and that said neighborhood is thickly settled and that much travel takes place over the said streets, that there is a street lamp at the intersection of Depot and Ash streets which is the only lamp within several blocks of the point named. Your petitioners therefore request that a street lamp be placed at the corner of Ash and John streets which will be of great advantage to the public particularly to residents in that vicinity.
