To His Honor the Mayor and the Common Council of the city of Seattle.

Gentlemen,

We the undersigned property owners and business men doing business on front street bet. seneca and university do respectfully pettition your honorable body to remove all the rubbish on said street and to cut off the front of the Knight Building all ready condemed by you as soon as possible.

This matter has been before the com. and a report made and adopted--

Damages were allowed by the board of appraisers for the changes in said buildings and your committee can see no good reason why the ordinance condemning that property should not be enforced.
