My Brother or one of them has now become Lt Comd in U.S Navy I am very proud of him.
Virginia is in paiting pictures & getting very good pay, Dolly has you in her thoughts.
I wish you could see Linda she is all dressed up in an old hat shes & [??] she is quite the actress. She can make you laugh even when you have the blues.

Dear Dr Van Waters
I hope this letter will find you in the best of health. I have been well spiritualy but troubled from time to time by my stomach & chest. Its not to bad though.
I received the book "Wild Flowers of America" yesterday. It is exactly the book I had wanted. Thank you very much. My brother shall reimberse you as soon as he is able.
I have started to read "Youth in Conflict" & I am enjoying each page. I have found more fact & feeling, expressed so unique, in the few pages that I have read, that all other books, of its type, that I have read, are a total blank wall in their conception of both problem
