Seattle May 2nd 1890 To the Mayor & City Council Gentleman I wish to call your attention to the way that the property has been assessed to pay the Grade Tax on Lake St Lot 3 in Block 4 will pay $142.32 grade tax The adjoining Lots on either side pay $106.00 Lot 3 pay the highest grade Tax on Lake St I hope the council will have this matter looked into. I would like verry much to know why I'm taxed more than any of the other property holders on Lake St on the same amount of property. M Kehoe
