A meeting of the Trustees of the Women's Medical College was held in the Whig Editorial Room at 4 o'Clock P.M. November 12th 1884.

Present Wm Harty Esq, Vice Chairman, RV Rogers, EJB Pense, AP Knight, Dr Lavell and Mrs Dickson.

Minutes of Past Meeting were read and approved.

Resolved that Mrs Alice McGillivray MD be appointed Professor of Practical Anatomy at a Salary of one Hundred and fifty dollars per annum

Resolved that the Annual meeting of Shareholders be held on the first Thursday in December next at 3 o'Clock P.M. in the City Council Chambers.

The Committee appointed at meeting of Trustees to consider an Endowment scheme and to report at this meeting were not prepared to submit any report at present.

The Treasurer's Statement showed a balance of $594.18 on Hand

A Meeting of the Trustees of the Women's Medical College, Kingston, was held in the Whig Editorial Rooms at 4 P.M. on 16th May 1885.

Present Mrs Dickson, Mrs Harty, Miss Gildersleeve, Messrs RV Rogers, H Folger, EJB Pense and AP Knight in the absence of chairman & Vice chairman EJB Pense was appointed Chairman pro tem.

Minutes of last meeting were read, approved and signed

The Treasurer presented a Statement showing a balance on hand of $368.69

Ordered that Mr McArthur be paid a salary of fifty dollars ($50.00) for the current year 1884/85.

Dr Lavell having tendered his resignation as lecturer on Obstetrics it was accepted.

Moved by AP Knight and seconded by H Folger that the Board place upon record their sense of the loss which the College has sustained in the resignation of Dr Lavell as lecturer in Obstetrics and tender him their warmest thanks for the ernest, energetic, and successful manner in which he has performed the duties of his professorship, carried.

Ordered that Dr Alice Mcgillivray be appointed Professor of Obstetrics in place of Dr Lavell resigned and that in addition to her duties as lecturer Obstetrics she have the superintendence of Practical Anatomy. Salary to be $300.00

The Fourth Annual Meeting of the Subscribers of the Women's Medical College was held on Thursday the 2nd December 1886 at 3 o'Clock in the afternoon in the City Council Chambers when the following subscribers were present.

Mrs Macnee, Mrs Skinner, Mrs Dickson, Miss Gildersleeve, Dr Anne Dickson, Dr Alice McGillivray, Messrs EJB Pense, AP Knight RM Rose, E Chown, RV Rogers, Wm Harty, Dr Lavell and the Treasurer.

RV Rogers Esq was appointed Chairman pro tem in the absence of Chairman and Vice chairman.

The minutes of the last annual meeting were read, approved and signed

The Treasurers statement of Revenue and Expenditure for the year ending 31st May 1886 ws read showing a balance on hand of $657.04 also a statement to 1st December 1886 showing a balance on hand of $1221.91

Mr Harty was authorized to see Messrs McKelvey and Birch regarding the defective heating of the Rooms in connection with the College.

Mr Harty moved the adoption of the Treasurers Statement, seconded by Mr E Chown. carried.

Voting was then proceeded with for the Election of Trustees for the ensuing year and resulted in the Relection of the last years Board of Trustees. The meeting then adjourned.

A Meeting of the Trustees of Womens Medical College was held in the Whig Editorial Rooms on Wednesday the 12th January 1887 at 4 oClock PM

Present Sir RJ Cartwright Chairman, Mrs Dickson, Mrs Macnee, Mrs Harty, Mrs Britton, Miss Gildersleeve, Mr Pense, Mr Rogers and Dr McGillivray

Report of Sub Committee read as follows

The Sub Committee on the Dispensary reports that they had decided to open a Dispensary on Princess Street, in the building kindly placed at their disposal by Miss Gildersleeve: that the sum of twenty dollars be allowed to the Dispensary from the funds of the College for drugs: that Mrs Britton, Mrs Dickson, Mrs Macnee, Miss Gildersleeve, and Dr McGillvray be a Committee of arrangment. Moved by Mr Rogers seconded by Mr Pense that the report be adopted. Carried.

A Discussion as to the the difficulties of Students in attending Clinical lectures at the General Hospital, it was resolved that Sir RJ Cartwright, Wm Harty and Dr Lavell be a Committee to see Dr Dupuis to ask him to give to the Lady Students Clinics for 2 hours per week at the General Hospital with special reference to diseases of Women.
