To the Common Council of City of Seattle, Wash.

We, the undersigned property owners and businessmen in the immediate vicinity of Depot and Willow Streets, request that the present incandescent lights at the corners of above streets be superceded by one arc ligt, on account of two sharp turns made by electric cars at these corners and the consequent danger to life and limb on dark nights and also on account of the increasing business importance of these corners. Seattle Sept. 25th 1891 To the Honorable Board of Public Works We the undersigned hereby petition your Honorable Body to vacate Clover Street in the City of Seattle from the South line of Kinnears Park to Olympic Avenue for the purpose of embracing fifty one ft (51) of said Clover St through the entire length of said St into the area of Kinnears Park
