To the Honorable the City Council for the City of Seattle We the undersigned members of the Hook and Ladder Co NoOne - for the City of Seattle having read ordinance known as ordinance No 536 Establishing a fire Department for the said City of Seattle would represent to your honorable Body that we are heartily in accord with this letter and spirit of said ordinance and that we recognise the necessity of such an ordinance and hereby respectfully request your honorable body to take No Action whatever that will modify or abridge the powers of any officer that may be elected under and by the provisions of said ordinance No 536.
